Dr. Jennifer Hayes earned her veterinary degree from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.
After graduation, she pursued a rigorous small animal rotating internship at two large ER/Specialty hospitals outside of Chicago. Upon completion of her internship in 2009, Dr. Hayes worked at a number of small animal emergency and specialty hospitals, which allowed her to grow her practice and emergency care across Hampton Roads until she found her home at Dog & Cat Hospital in January of 2022.
Dr. Hayes has special interests in emergency medicine, internal medicine, and dermatology.
When not working, Dr. Hayes enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, two dogs, and a cat. She also enjoys watching college football (Geaux Tigers!), traveling, reading, and cookouts.
